Another mailing house into liquidation

Melbourne-based mailing house and marketing agency Digital Logic has gone into liquidation and a creditors meeting is expected to be announced shortly.

The Supreme Court of New South Wales posted a Notice to Liquidator of Appointment that says Digital Logic Asia Pacific (known as DLAP) of 477 Warrigal Road, Moorabbin, VIC has been wound up by order of the court’s equity division. Mark Roufeil of accountancy firm PKF Sydney has been appointed liquidator.

The application for the winding up was filed on 31 March by plaintiff Talent Growth Solutions.

Creditors could be owed hundreds of thousands of dollars and up to 15 staff members may have lost their jobs, according to an industry insider, who says: “Some staff have been left out of pocket.”

Earlier this month, Melbourne direct mailing house Dynamic Direct entered voluntary liquidation, with all staff terminated and equipment to be sold off.

On its website, Digital Logic describes itself as: a full-service digital marketing agency that specialises in online and offline campaigns for medium to large-sized companies. Using our flagship Xerox digital presses, we produce high quality, fully personalised marketing materials…across multiple formats, from direct mail and brochures, to company reports and point-of-sale material.

The directors of Digital Logic have been unavailable for comment and the business phone is not being answered. Anyone with further information can contact editor@print21.com.au.

You might want to ask them about the dealings they had with Fuji Xerox and why a second hand Indigo was installed.
They were the poster boys of FX for many years, but now they are not speaking to each other anymore.
Digital Logic were much more than just a mail house BTW.
