Currie Group represents key industry brands such as Hewlett Packard Indigo, Horizon, CRON, Scodix, OMET, ABG, AVT and other manufacturers. Our staff, support, equipment and associated consumable offering provide a fully integrated Print Solution to hundreds of companies through Australia and New Zealand.

The Role

We are looking for an extremely motivated Applications Specialist to be trained on the maintenance, repairs and installation of our range of capital equipment to customers within our market.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and introduce graphic arts solution for commercial, Label & Packaging and photo segments
  • Work with solution partners and finishing partners to define customer solution
  • Collaborate with sales team
  • Be an integrator to ensure the workflow needs of the customers are met
  • Knowledge sharing and training for sales and marketing teams

Internal/External Customers

  • Support sales & marketing function for demo/shows/exhibitions/pre-sales site visits
  • Work with HP workflow and solution team
  • Work with sales managers to develop and introduce new solutions
  • Work closely with solutions partners

Dimensions of Job

  • Develop e2e solutions for each market segment
  • Train and implement solutions across geographies

Experience Qualification Skills

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a sales support role
  • Technical background in the printing industry is desirable
  • Ability to cope in a high stress-demanding environment
  • Knowledge of graphic arts/printing industry is desirable
