Whirlwind Print is a fast paced, dynamic print company and we are passionate about our customers, our people and about print. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Customer Support Team based in Artarmon, NSW. 

The CSR’s primary focus is to provide exceptional administrative support to Whirlwind customers and internally to the sales and preprint teams. The position’s main function is the efficient and accurate data entry of customer print orders.  

The CSR works closely with both the preprint and sales teams to ensure daily sales, jobs workflows and customer expectations are met.    

As a CSR, you will assist Account Managers with the preparation of quotations and data entry of job orders. You will also communicate with a wide variety of customers via email and phone to assist them to achieve print solutions that meet their needs. Thriving in a high pressure environment, you will enjoy the challenge of tight deadlines and thinking on the go.       

This position requires the perfect candidate to have a strong customer service ability (via phone and email), and exceptional computer administration skills. It’s a bonus if you have an understanding of the print process and basic file checking however it is not essential.  An ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally is a must. Attention to detail is imperative as managing workflows and timelines is critical in delivering positive results to our clients both internally and externally.  A critical component to the role is the ability to build strong relationships with both our external customers and our internal preprint and sales teams.      

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • CSR / Preprint support experience within the print industry. Understanding of artwork file  set­up and print highly desirable (or willingness and aptitude to learn)
  • Excellent computer and administration skills – speed and accuracy critical. Ability to touch type would be beneficial
  • Confidence in learning new systems is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a variety of customers (internal and external) via phone and email
  • Ability to handle a high volume of orders and be able to manage deadlines.  
  • Your work style will have a sense of urgency, and you will be proactive and very service focused

This position would suit someone with experience in a busy print environment or a customer service role. Ideally we are seeking a customer support professional who has had a few years experience in a CSR role within the Print industry.
