Our client offers a complete range of print services. They have been established for over 50 years and employ 70+ staff. Their comprehensive facilities enables them to produce work for the most exacting and high profile clients within the FMCG, pharmaceutical, finance, retail, entertainment, automotive, tourism, and related industries.

A stimulating opportunity now exists to join the company in a role that will offer great security (with the winning of recent, large contracts) and continued professional development. Working within an existing, closely knit team, you will be required to produce detailed and accurate cost estimates in a timely manner. You will also liaise closely with the Sales team and your success will be guaranteed by adopting an uncompromising attitude towards customer satisfaction.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering accurate and timely printing and production estimates to the sales team and their clients;
  • Providing estimating services of the highest quality & accuracy standards – whilst doing so in a professional and appropriate manner which demonstrates the organisations values;
  • Negotiating with external suppliers in regard to achieving cost effect quotes for outsourced materials;
  • On occasion assisting the Sales team interpret client requests for quotes and ensuring specifications are viable, economical and adding value to clients’ businesses;
  • Liaising with the Production team when necessary to ascertain the most effective methods of production.

To secure this enviable role, you will have accumulated relevant experience within a high quality, sheet-fed printing company and have a good understanding of POS & FMCG. An in-depth understanding of print processes and modern printing technologies is essential.

Most importantly, you will enjoy solving problems, can work within stringent time constraints and respond positively to challenging client requests. Experience with the Prism estimating system will reinforce your suitability to become a valued member of the team.
