Avery Dennison has relaunched the Mactac brand of graphic and decorative products in Australia and signed up Graphic Art Mart as a new national distributor.

Jordan Leach, business manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions in Australia & New Zealand, says the move comes in response to customers’ needs for quality, convenience and easy access of pressure sensitive graphic and decorative products for signage, digital inkjet and architectural solutions.

“Today’s announcement reiterates our commitment to the Mactac brand and to customers,” says Leach. “With Graphic Art Mart as the new national distributor, Mactac’s distribution network in Australia has significantly broadened and customers can now enjoy easy access to the Mactac brand of reliable, creative products built on 50 years of innovation in Europe.”

Graphic Art Mart, a leading supplier of sign, digital and display solutions for over 40 years, will distribute the widest range of Mactac products through its website and network of outlets in Australia. It will also showcase a wide range of Mactac products at the upcoming Visual Impact Sydney from October 11 to 13, 2017.

Current distributor, Ball & Doggett, one of Australia’s largest and most diversified paper, packaging and print media distribution businesses, will continue to distribute Mactac’s range of products for digital and screen print applications. Mactac products in New Zealand will continue to be available through Aarque.

Mactac graphic and decorative products are used in architecture, interior design, advertising and promotion, signage and marking, vehicle and transport, and protection of graphic creations. With manufacturing and research capabilities in Europe, Mactac combines high quality in-house manufacturing with R&D excellence, building partnerships with customers and ensuring a focus on sustainability.

Mactac Europe SPRL separated from Mactac North America and was acquired by Avery Dennison in August 2016.
