Almost 50 entries were received and the judges have made their decisions on the inplant professionals print and business awards for 2009.

“There were many excellent pieces of work in this year’s awards and the judges had their work cut out for them in making their decisions,” said Robert Jack, awards and training co-ordinator for the Network. “I’m the only one who knows who the winners are until the announcement in Hobart during the conference in October.”

The third NIPAA print awards saw winners in 10 print categories as well as awards for creative design, business innovation and outstanding contribution to NIPPA. There were some categories, notable single and spot colour letterheads where there were no entries this year. There were a number of offset jobs entered but ,as expected, the majority of the entries were digital printing.

The judging took place last Friday at the Currie Group’s NSW showroom in St Leonards. The NIPPA Conference takes place 14-16 October at the Chancellor Hotel, Hobart, Tasmania.
