Avery Dennison unveils Next Gen digital wrapping

Leading supplier Avery Dennison has expanded its range of vehicle wrapping films with the introduction of MPI 1105 Easy Apply RSTM cast film and DOL 6460 High Gloss overlaminate film.

Both products have been developed to meet the growing demand for vibrant colour reproduction, as well as easier and faster application.

“The excellent printability of MPI 1105 Easy Apply RSTM across a wide range of digital inkjet printing platforms, including Latex, UV curable, solvent and eco-solvent inks, results in eye-catching graphics that make strong statements for personal vehicles and powerful branding platforms for commercial fleet vehicles,” said David Newman, senior product manager, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions, South Asia Pacific and Sub-Sahara Africa. “It is also ideal for interior and exterior signage that requires an optimal combination of print quality and durability.”

Installers will continue to benefit from the Easy Apply RSTM technology and inherent air-egress capability for bubble free application, aided by low initial tack that allows sliding and repositioning the film into place for exact graphics alignment, and provides exceptional 3D conformability even on surfaces with challenging corrugations and curves, said Newman.

MPI 1105 Easy Apply RSTM is optimized for use with the new DOL 6460 High Gloss clear polyurethane overlaminate and includes a two-year horizontal warranty in Australia and New Zealand. Together, the products are said to deliver stunning image quality, automotive paint-like high gloss, and increased resistance to scratching, abrasion, stone damage and weathering.
