  • Australians head to Bangkok for ProPak Asia

    A large Australian contingent will join 1600 exhibitors at this year’s largest-ever ProPak Asia event in Thailand. The 23rd International Processing, Filling and Packaging Technology Event for Asia will run from 17-20 June at Bitec in Bangkok, Thailand.

    Australian companies who will have stands in six large exhibition halls at Bitec include Accupak, Fibre King ,Oryx Automation, Heat & Control, HMPS, Maselli Asia Pacific, Metz, Floveyor, HBM Plastics, Hot Melt Packaging, Select Packaging, TNA Australia and others. The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) will also have a stand.

    ProPak Asia 2015 will present over 1600 exhibitors from 44 countries, including 14 international pavilions from China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the US. More than 4500 machines from across the world will be on display. The event will include DrinkTechAsia, showcasing latest beverage processing and packaging technology.

    “Through increasing domestic demand and exports within ASEAN, Asia and globally, more and more companies are joining ProPak Asia as manufacturers and suppliers set up and develop good business in Asia,” said Justin Pau, GM Bangkok Exhibition Services.

  • printpack + sign in Singapore

    Singapore’s only printing, packaging & signage show takes place in late July at the Marina Bay Sands, with thousands of trade buyers expected to attend.

    The printpack + sign exhibition is an international trade fair for services, equipment and technologies for printing and packaging, and is regarded as one of the most prestigious fairs of its kind in Southeast Asia.  Many companies are planning to present the latest product designs and trends for the industry.

    Organisers say new data suggests that by 2017, the Asian Pacific print industry will be the largest in the world by region, with total revenues projected to grow from 29% in 2012 to 40.5% of the global market.

    The printpack + sign event runs over 3 days from Wednesday, 29 July to Friday, 31 July 2015.

    Labelexpo Europe is the world’s largest event for the label and package printing industry.

  • FESPA 2015

    The 2015 Global Expo moves to Cologne, Germany for the first time, running for five days from Monday 18 to Friday 22 May 2015. The event is set to occupy 62,500m2 of exhibition space in the new north halls of KoelnMesse, making it the largest FESPA Global Expo of all time.

    FESPA 2015 is calling print service providers to Discover Your Universe of Print.

    According to FESPA Divisional Director Roz McGuinness  because there is  no other international print event in 2015, FESPA in Cologne will offer visitors the most comprehensive constellation of print and related technologies. “At our last FESPA Global Expo in London in 2013, we invited our community to ‘Fly FESPA’, and over 22000 printers, signmakers and print specifiers ‘flew’ with us. For 2015, we’re taking the mode of transport to another level, along with the event itself, which will certainly be the most extensive event FESPA has ever staged.”

  • Labelexpo India

    South Asia’s premier label and package printing exhibition, it returns to Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 29 October – 1 November and will be bigger than ever before. Covering 5,800sq meters, Labelexpo India 2014 will feature around 250 exhibiting companies including over 50 first time exhibitors.   • Label Summit Indonesia 2014

    Building on last year’s success, Label Summit Indonesia will feature a mix of technical presentations, case studies and panel discussions and explore new printing technologies and their applications and regional and international printing trends.

    The two-day conference program, which is packed with 16 sessions, will also look at packaging trends, materials, anti-counterfeiting as well as brand development, product design and positioning. Filip Weymans of the event’s gold sponsor, Xeikon, will deliver the keynote presentation on how consumer behavior is evolving and how technology can influence consumer purchasing decisions.

    Day one will concentrate on the latest label printing technologies with sessions on prepress software, MIS software and an in-depth overview and panel discussion on how to optimize the conventional printing process when selecting letterpress, flexo or offset.   • All in Print China

    The 5th China International Exhibition for All Printing Technology and Equipment (All in Print China 2014) – one of the most influential exhibition on printing and packaging in Asia, will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Center, China during November 14 to 17.

    Following the Ipex challenges, it will be interesting to see if the supplier industry in China is able to support a major Asian show.

    Australia and NZ visitors will be able to see most of the major German offset press manufacturers at the event.

  • BJ Ball Mohawk Show – Brisbane

    BJ Ball is taking its Mohawk Show to Queensland, kicking off the Brisbane leg of the Mohawk roadshow on 12 June, where visitors can check out the winning work in the international Mohawk Show first-hand.
