Dana Zorec of D&D Global Group, located in Melbourne, emailed to say, with justifiable pride, that the company is (she believes) the only company from Australia, this year to win a Benny Award in the US. Named after Benjamin Franklin, US founding father, also a printer, the prestigious award was announced at Chicago for innovation in printing.
We expect founder Drago Zorec will make the trip to pick up the most deserved accolade. Congratulations!

There is a lot of downside on being a public company in the graphic arts industry, not the least is that everyone knows the colour of your washing. Take Baldwin, the press enhancement company. Yes it has struggled over the years but it’s on the way back. Sales are up and cash flow is positive. It’s still making a loss but Peter Tkachuk, met in the aisles of IGAS, assures that the refinancing has the company on a secure footing. It attained a positive operating cash flow for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2003 of approximately US$1.4million.
