CyraChrome has completed a move into spacious new premises in Lane Cove, Sydney. Located just 200 metres from their previous head office and showroom, the new nook at 3/11 Orion Road has double the floorspace over two levels, enabling an expansion of the demonstration showroom and laboratory.

The laboratory boasts a fully integrated prepress network with CGS O.R.I.S. Workflow and ‘Page’, Macintoshes with full Adobe software suites and eleven fully operational inkjet output devices for both proofing and display graphics applications.

The new Tiara Sapphire and Opal solvent inkjet printers will be installed following their showing on the Gold Coast at the Sign*A*Rama biennial Expo. These new additions to the CyraChrome printer stable enable the production of outdoor-grade banners and signage with 3-5 year durability before any significant fading occurs.

Other working machinery includes Epson 2100, 7600, 9600 and 10600 printers; Hewlett Packard 20ps, Designjet 5000 and 1050C and the SpinJet dual-sided imposition proofer. DuPont’s Digital Cromalin is represented and the new Coatliner 44” Laminator is also on display.

Real Time Image online proofing is there and many samples of large-format proofing and display output on Dr Graphix media adorn the walls.

The extra space will enable CyraChrome to host more customer evenings and training sessions inhouse.

Leading German software expert now in Australia.

CyraChrome now has a resident software expert from CGS Publishing Tehnologies GmbH – makers of the industry-leading ColorTuner proofing Rip and O.R.I.S. Page and Works software. Bernd Rueckert has visited Australia many times but will now stay for at least six months to support CyraChrome’s push for more workflow and page assembly/editing software sales.
