Following its inaugural success in Melbourne last year, the Creative Suite
User Conference is being held in Sydney, November 1 – 4, at the Australian
Technology Park Conference Centre in Eveleigh.

The 2005 Creative Suite Conference will feature Adobe’s recently announced
Creative Suite 2 (CS2) and is for Adobe Creative Suite experts, users,
newcomers – in fact, anyone who needs to know how these products really work
together. To register, or for more information, visit www.csconference.com
and follow the link to Sydney.

“If you use any one of the Creative Suite products – Adobe Photoshop,
InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat or GoLive – this will be a valuable show,”
said conference organiser Barry Anderson. “If you use two or more of these
applications, this is an event you cannot miss. If you have not upgraded or
want to see if buying CS2 is worth it, then the Creative Suite Conference
can help you make up your mind.”

The Creative Suite Conference features three days of learning, networking
and sharing. Speakers to date include:

  • Scott Citron – international award-winning graphic designer and
principal of Scott Citron Design in New York City, specializing in fine book
design and corporate identity development. <./li>
  • Sandee Cohen – graphic design trainer and a dynamic and entertaining
speaker, she has been a frequent participant at Seybold Seminars, Macworld
    Expo, and Thunder Lizard events.
  • Eliot Harper – currently Production Software Marketing Manager at Fuji
Xerox Australia, Eliot worked for Adobe on the InDesign Team as the Technical
Pre-Release Program Manager where he was responsible for managing InDesign
    2.0 and CS pre-release programs.
  • Michael Stoddart – Business Development Manager for Adobe Creative
Professional market. Over the past four years Michael has been heavily
involved in helping Adobe’s publishing, advertising and design clients
    transition to Adobe InDesign.
  • Get up to speed and stop the nation!

November 1 is a full day Pre-Conference “Essentials” Training Course – so
anyone can get up to speed fast in Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, or
Illustrator. It’s also Melbourne Cup. Organiser Anderson, USA born and bred,
is putting on a special race event for attendees.

“I’ve been told that the Melbourne Cup is the race that stops the nation, so
we’ve arranged for a big screen, sweepstake and drinks for delegates.”

According to Anderson, one of the most valuable aspects of the conference is
the chance for attendees to gain one-on-one mentoring time with
    world-renowned, international Creative Suite specialists.

“CS2 is a rich, amazing software, and this user conference will help people
learn how to get the most of out of it, with unprecedented access to
international expertise. Given the response to our CS conferences in Las
Vegas, London, Chicago and now Sydney, there is clearly a hunger amongst the
    user community for knowledge.”
