According to industry analyst, Richard Rasmussen who keeps a close eye on such trends through his Market Watch, the usual pre-drupa doldrums have not dampened the appetite of printers to invest in new technology.  The PMP digital bonanza – inkjet and electro ink –with HP and Currie Group follows on from Ferrostaal’s Komori success with Hero Print and Fuji Xerox’s stunning five iGen5s to Blue Star. Other suppliers, such as Konica Minolta are reporting record breaking results both in terms of investment and print volumes.

It all adds to the portrait of a very healthy, robust, industry.
