Good to see a groundswell of protest against the proposed scrapping of the copyright laws that have helped nurture Australian writing, publishing and thereby book printing. The latest defender to the barricades is Tim Woods, publisher of industry bible, Pulp & Paper Edge. He joins Andrew Macauley, CEO of Printing Industries and a growing number of others in demanding that this ideologically-driven proposal is scrapped. If it’s good enough for the USA and UK with their much larger markets, then it’s surely good enough for us.
