What’s in a name? Not much it seems if you’re a marketing tragic. Fairfax NZ has binned years of brand recognition with a name change. In what may be a Freudian slip, the creatives have come up with the brand name ‘Stuff’ to describe its newspaper business in  New Zealand. It doesn’t take much to imagine how a change into the past tense could transform the verb into a sarcastic description of the company’s prospects.

Sometimes it seems they just don’t care.
