Reporting to the Business Director – Asia Pacific Reflective Solutions, you will drive profitable growth for Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions products in specific segments, through direct contact and relationship with end-users, industry bodies and traffic sign manufacturers. The role will be responsible for the planning, development, management and execution of the Reflective Solutions strategy across Australia and New Zealand.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the Profit & Loss ensuring monthly sales and net income targets are achieved.
  • Responsible for monthly sales activities and product/market management activities.
  • Managing the activities of a team including a Technical Representative and Supply Chain coordinator.
  • Oversee inventory planning and logistics activities
  • Assist in establishing pricing guidelines / terms within the Australia/NZ reflective market
  • Establish Annual Operating Plans and Strategic Plans for the Australia/NZ Reflective business
  • Building relationships to maintain key accounts (either Government Agencies or Private Contractors). Will often interface with Senior Officials and Government laboratories.
  • Participate in Technical Standards Committees in Australia / NZ to represent the interests of Avery Dennison
  • Oversee purchasing and supply chains for raw materials used in local production as well as products for distribution
  • Collaborating with Production and R&D teams in the US to ensure Australia/NZ product and supply needs are achieved
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual sales and product forecasts and reports.


  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales and Business Management in the graphics or traffic & sign industry.
  • Significant technical knowledge on the subject of retroreflection is highly desirable
  • Prior commercial management experience
  • Prior P/L management experience
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP/MRPs (MFGPro) and
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Sales or Business (preferably degree qualified and/or relevant industry recognized training)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations)
  • Mobility within ANZ and internationally to support customer needs and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, self-driven and comfortable to hold themselves and others to account. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels is essential.
