The Role

The role of Finishing Production Scheduler requires you to be experienced in the Print Industry and motivated to join our team. In addition you will have a willingness to learn, be flexible and be able to adapt to change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the scheduling of the daily workloads of the Finishing department (including our Bindery area) in a timely and efficient manner ensuring work is produced within the customer’s timeframes, estimated costs and to client specifications. Other responsibilities include attending daily WIP Meetings, producing reports and working closely with the Production Manager.

A positive attitude, an ability to follow instructions and work safely will need to be demonstrated.

Ability to show initiative and work autonomously as well as part of a team are also key competencies required for this role.

The ideal candidates will have at least 5-10 years’ experience in the printing trade and be a proactive and customer focused team player.

Previous Finishing, Bindery or Production Management experience is desired however full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will also have had some experience with Prism MIS.
