That business had invested considerable resources to develop “best-practice” solutions for the high growth market of aged & community care and hospitals, which importantly has provided the group with a nationally recognised and respected brand within the health care industry.

The group is now well positioned to provide digital options for all of our primary and high growth markets and keep up with the needs of our customers.

This role requires the successful candidate to create and roll out the overall sales and marketing strategy. A true professional who will thrive in a competitive market and enjoy establishing and maintaining close relationships with businesses within our market sectors throughout Australia.

To be considered for the role the applicants must have a:

  • Willingness to travel within Australia
  • Proven sales track record
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in Sales Management.

Position reports to the Sales Director

Core Tasks

  • Annual sales budget setting
  • Grow sales of core products and services in existing markets
  • Identify and establish sales of core products and services in new markets
  • Increase on line sales
  • Coach and mentor the field sales staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and review business approach, devise and implement target based sales strategy and monitor sales performance
  • Prepare and present the Annual Sales Business plans
  • Execution of agreed strategic plans for each business sector
  • Achievement of sales targets
  • Negotiate contracts with Large Key Accounts
  • Business and Product Development
  • Manage the new sales recruitment and training process

Direct Reports

  • 2 x Education/General Business Field Sales Representatives
  • 1 – 2 x Print Account Managers
  • 1 x National Sales Manager (Care Sector)
  • 1 x Internal Customer Service Co-ordinator
  • 1 x Telemarketing Manager

Note: The Group Sales Manager will review the structure of the team after a reasonable period in the role.
