Momento (www.momentopro.com.au and www.momento.com.au) is an award winning photo book printer based in Zetland, Sydney. We pride ourselves on quality work and we print for many of Australia’s top professional photographers, as well as having a successful photo book service for the general public.

We are looking for the right person to join our team and operate our single 7900 for the coming years. We are always pushing the boundaries of quality and print techniques on the Indigo, regularly working with HP to raise the bar of what the 7900 can do.

The job requires:

  • Print photo book and stationery products to the highest quality
  • Manage job queue and RIP to ensure jobs are printed correctly and in a timely fashion
  • Follow processes and work closely with production manager to ensure efficient production
  • Manage the stock levels of Indigo consumables and paper stocks
  • Ensure the press is always running in an optimal state
  • Maintain an immaculate press. Monitor for, and resolve issues promptly
  • Keep a clean press room
  • Be flexible enough to learn and assist with other finishing tasks when demand requires

Candidates require:

  • 5 years Indigo experience with at least 2 on the 7×00 series
  • Reliability, initiative, and a hardworking attitude
  • Good skills with computers
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of ICC colour management is preferable
  • Guillotine and other finishing equipment experience is beneficial

The job is a full time position at our brand new facility conveniently located in Zetland, walking distance from Green Square station. Except at peak times, the job is for weekdays only, starting at 8:30am.
