Currie Group Pty Ltd, a market leading supplier to the Graphic Arts Industry, is looking for an experienced Manager – Supplies Planning / Logistics Planning to manage our team located in our Hawthorn Head Office. Currie Group represents key industry brands such as HP Indigo, Horizon, CRON, Scodix, Agfa and other manufacturers. Our staff, support, equipment and consumable offerings combined, provides a fully integrated Print Solution to our customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Manager and coordinator to provide inventory planning and supplies support to customers within the Australia-wide market. Key areas being;

  • Maintain and analysing data to identify consumable inventory requirements and forecasting demand and supply.
  • Reviewing back orders to ensure timely supply of customer orders.
  • Reviewing of stock levels and generation of purchase orders.
  • Coordination of time critical ink mixing orders and deliveries.
  • Liaise with 3PL warehouse ensure timely customer deliveries and receipt of inwards goods.
  • Provide support and assistance to our order desk and customers for orders, stock availability and resolution of queries.
  • Coordinating of overseas export orders including all relevant documentation.
  • Investigate stock variations and assist in annual and cycle stock takes.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary education in Logistics or Supply Chain would be advantageous
  • Experience in Logistics and Supplies planning within the Printing Industry would also be advantageous
  • A high attention to detail
  • Very good Excel skills (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
  • Good Organisation skills
  • Great people management skills and experience
  • Great communication skills, can listen as well as have the ability to establish and build both internal and external relationships
  • Disciplined and accurate approach to data entry
  • Very good computer skills
