A fantastic opportunity has become available within Fuji Xerox Australia’s (FXA) much heralded industry engagement facility, the epicenter, based at Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh, NSW.  FXA are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join the epicenter team.

In this key role you will be responsible for developing, demonstrating and maintaining colour digital production presses and software solutions for internal and external customer engagements. You will focus your time in the Graphic Arts, Commercial Print and Quick Print markets. This is a unique and focussed position, which is a resource base utilised for sales and marketing engagements across numerous markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for demonstrations, application testing and maintenance on iGen3 and other Production colour devices within the epicenter environment.

  • Assist in the development of vertical and cross-market colour solutions.

  • Communicate new applications to Sales and Marketing through team meetings.

  • Build and improve the Graphic Arts, Commercial Print and Quick Print solutions for use in the epicenter, sales and marketing environments.

  • Work in virtual team with epicenter, Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, as well as engaging appropriate resources from our support organisation in order to deliver faultless solution demonstrations and collaterals.

  • Co-ordinate regular reviews across the business to monitor effectiveness and completeness of the solutions being presented to visiting organisations at the epicenter.

  • Assist in the packaging of industry solutions as a selling tool.

  • Synergise knowledge and workflow practices between solutions being presented at the epicenter, and what is being experienced in the field.

  • Ensure a faultless Customer Engagement process by focusing on:

  • Professional, presentable and physically exciting environment for our customers.

  • Solution readiness at all times.

  • Professionally communicate the best practise technical and business opportunities associated to each solution.

  • Effective cross-skilling and redundancy planning to ensure availability of resources for specific solutions.

  • Prompt and willing supply of requested resources and samples, sales collaterals for new solutions developed, or any relevant request during sales cycle.

  • Enhancing the visibility and awareness of Industry and Solution messages throughout FX.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years commercial experience in Printing, Networking, Colour Prepress and Digital Colour Workflow.

  • Working knowledge of key publishing and/or transactional applications.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prepare and conduct presentations.

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical parties.

  • Excellent interpersonal, instructional and demonstration skills.

  • Be self-motivated.
