Learn about digital labels: Holmesglen TAFE Thursday 7 March

Konica Minolta is hosting two label print workflow and technology showcase events for companies looking to enter or expand digital label printing.

The two sessions will be held at Holmesglen TAFE next Thursday 7 March, and based on the AccurioLabel 190. Konica Minolta has been the major donor to Holmesglen for its print production equipment.

Slated for either a breakfast session 8-10.30am or afternoon timeslot 4-6.30pm where canapes and refreshments will be provided.

The event will show the ideal workflow from customer online order to despatch of rolls of finished / converted labels. Click here for more details and registration.

Konica Minolta is working with XMpie and PrintIQ at the event, which will provide in depth analysis of the production workflow and the costings including stock, labour and equipment rental.

Target markets are existing label converters and commercial printers looking to broaden their repetoire. The AccurioLabel 190 was launched at the last drupa.

Yeah, I thought that was an interesting collaboration too. But a lot of former FX employees are now at KM so they will hardly be strangers.

There’s nothing quite like XMpie so Xerox lets it run relatively independently. Also EFI has been bundling XMpie with Fiery for years and Firies drive KM and other printers. Xerox sold its Freeflow front-end to EFI…wonder if XMpie is on the cards???
