Multichannel retailer EziBuy has awarded PMP a three-year multimillion-dollar contract to print its magazine style catalogues for the Australian market.

Steve Mackay, commercial general manager of EziBuy, says the innovation presented by PMP was very compelling. “We believe PMP can enhance and facilitate the print and publishing of our catalogues in the Australian market.”

As the largest heat-set web printer in Australasia, PMP has the multi-site print facilities required to meet EziBuy’s current and future catalogue volumes across Australia.

According to Mackay, the company chose to focus heavily on this side of the Tasman due to slow home market growth in New Zealand. This shift in attention will see the company incorporating some different strategies than in its home market.

“This partnership will help us capture as many of those opportunities as we can. PMP is an integrated business. There are a lot of things they can offer other than print, such as add-ons,” he said.

The magazine-style catalogue producer is already known in the Australian market. With PMP on board it is looking to expand by utilising multi-channel strategies.

Andrew Williams, general manager for print and distribution at PMP, looks forward to a close collaboration with EziBuy, “delivering high quality print and publishing solutions to help strengthen the EziBuy brand in the Australian market.”
