Launched on 1 February, the Nuvera engine offers more power and an accelerated performance with software and hardware enhancements. Designed to produce a range of documents such as direct-mail pieces to booklets to invoices in commercial and security print environments, the Nuvera has a printing speed of 144 ppm.

“The Nuvera maximises productivity tin both publishing and transactional print environments,” said Chris Aked, production systems marketing manager of Fuji Xerox.

Primarily aimed at the publishing and transactional markets, Fuji said that customers using the Nuvera for publishing work include commercial printers, quick printers, government, tertiary education, and financial institutions. Mailing houses and bureaus are using Nuvera for transactional applications, according to Fuji.

The Nuvera has been received well by its customers, according to Maria Nordstrom, Fuji Xerox’s production services general manager. “The product’s strength lies in its ability to adapt to multiple scanning, inserting, stock and variable information requirements. We are committed to fitting our products into our customers’ workflows, not the other way around,” she said.
