Stacey Currie leads Heidelberg Women in Print into another year

Comments Comments

Women in the printing industry are set to unite again as the popular Heidelberg Women in Print returns next year with Stacey Currie of Signs ‘n Banners confirmed as speaker.

Angeline Wyatt, Heidelberg’s Patron for Women in Print said that Currie (pictured) was chosen after feedback on previous events. “We’ve listened to feedback from our guests and they are telling us they want to hear from other successful women in their own industry,” she said.

“Stacey is a prime example of a self-made woman who is not only successful in our industry, but further afield. I think her story is extremely relevant to our audience and believe our guests will enjoy her talk immensely.”

A mother of five, 31-year-old Currie has grown a small business – Signs ‘n Banners from $100 worth of sales per month to $100,000.  Amongst her achievements, Currie was nominated in the 2010 Telstra Business Women's Awards, is the ambassador of the Lighthouse Foundation for young mothers and has written a book on her life that will be published in January.
