Sign and display supplier Pozitive has notched up a big win, becoming the exclusive distributor for Summa’s new high-tech F Series of flatbed cutting tables in Australia.

The F Series, which is available in four sizes from 160cm x 120cm up to 265cm x 305cm, offers state-of-the-art features such as a multifunctional head with space for up to three modules, automatic barcode recognition, and automated depth control.

Phil Trumble, Pozitive.

Phil Trumble, managing director of Pozitive, said he was proud to be the exclusive dealer for the F Series, having supplied Summa cutters in Australia for several decades. “Pozitive has a long history supplying and servicing the Summa cutters to the Australian market. It was the very first cutter I used when I was introduced to the industry at 16 years old,” he said. “Over the following 25 years I have seen first-hand the quality and durability of the product, so it’s an honour and privilege for Pozitive to be appointed as the exclusive distributor of Summa’s versatile flatbed cutting systems.”

Wim Maes, Summa.

Wim Maes, chief commercial officer and executive director at Summa, said Summa believes in reliability, high-quality solutions, and impeccable customer service, and that Pozitive reflects these values perfectly. “Together, we will provide the Australian market with high quality Summa solutions and dedicated customer service from Pozitive,” he said. “Summa looks forward to fulfilling the customers’ needs for an excellent finish, which only a Summa product can provide.”

Pozitive will showcase a Summa F Series F1612 flatbed cutter at its demonstration centre in Eastern Creek, Sydney, which hosted an open day last September. The machine will be available for viewing and testing, along with Pozitive’s range of other equipment and consumables for the sign and display market, including swissQprint, Bullmer, Roland, Epson and Mimaki.
