Former PaperlinX chief executive Andrew Price has been appointed CEO Asia-Pacific of print marketing and services giant HH Global.

Price was sacked by PaperlinX in February, just weeks before its UK operation was placed into administration in April with debts estimated at more than $A106 million (£53m) by administrators Deloitte.

“HH Global is a global industry leader and I am excited to be working with this highly successful team,” said Price, who will now be based in Hong Kong. “It’s refreshing to be working with an internationally respected board who have long term commercial experience and a thorough understanding of the complexities of our industry,” he said.

Price will be responsible for the HH Global Asia-Pacific business region, which includes Australia, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and China. The appointment is effective 17 August 2015 and Price will also join the HH Global’s board of directors.

“Andrew brings over 30 years of industry experience to HH Global, with much of his expertise acquired via various successful executive positions in Australia, Europe and Asia,” said HH Global in a company statement. “Andrew’s entrepreneurial style and drive has enabled him to achieve significant strategic results in print management across Asia Pacific.”

HH Global is a London-based print and marketing services business specialising in the management of global marketing supply chains and offers creative services, marketing technology & marketing production across all media types, including printed, digital and in-store.
