Macfarlane will address the forum on the ways government policy affects the printing industry. He is expected to unveil the government’s plans for a new industry statement.

This initial Printing Industry Leaders Forum will bring together many of CEO’s and managing directors of some of the largest and most significant printing enterprises in Australia. “The forum has been designed to provide a social environment in which a select group of major printing industry company executives can meet with some of the country’s most influential decision makers and network with their peers,” said Peter Lane, national president, Printing Industries.

A highlight of the invitation-only event will be a special premiere viewing of the new industry DVD Imagine: A World Without Print which has been distributed throughout schools to encourage students to enter the profession.

Tipped to be a who’s who of the printing industry, the forum is likely to emerge as a significant event on the industry’s yearly calendar.
