Great to see print advertising spend in newspapers on the rise, maybe it marks a turning point in the decline in newsprint, but anyone who commutes on public transport will tell you the era of printed newspapers is over there, almost everyone is hunched over their smartphones. Tough news for magazine ads though, 28 per cent down is a serious number.
