The four apprentices Kerry Hale (PMP Print), Joanne Wilson (Sinnott Bros), Scott Mohammed (Sony DADC Australia) and Jennifer Jervis (JSC Screen Print) were awarded Printing Industries Association of Australia Medals for achieving the best pass in their respective TAFE courses.

Kerry completed the print finishing course, Joanne the graphic prepress course, Scott the printing course and Jennifer screen printing.

Healey says these students are an asset to our industry and a credit to TAFE for the way in which they have applied themselves during their respective courses. The presentations were held at the Turner Hall in Ultimo.

“I am sure they will go on to have productive and rewarding careers in our industry and will serve as great examples to others of the kind of careers and opportunities that are available for young people.

“With their outstanding commitment and will to achieve, the future of our industry is in good hands,” he said.
