Roland DG has done it again with the new Texart RT-640 dye sublimation system.
Vivid colours on Sportswear, décor, Point Of Sale (POS) displays, trade show exhibits and a wide range of promotional products are all made possible at high speed using dual cmyk configuration, or with extended gamut using the cmyk plus Lc, Lm Orange and Violet inkset. With a top speed of 22 sqm/hr – fast by dye sub standards – productivity is further increased with Roland’s 2 litre pouch bulk ink system.
To finish the textiles off, Roland also offers the Texart CS-640 Heat Transfer Calender for permanent wash and light-fast results. At 64″ wide it can cope with most patterns that are ultimately cut, sewed and formed into stunning garments and sportswear.
“I think the secret is in Roland’s new SBL3 inks and gold-plated printheads,” says McCourt, “the blacks and grays are rich and velvety, traditionally a weakness of dye sub. The detail is superb and the colours speak for themselves – simply brilliant.”
