RTS Imaging becomes the Australian distributor for Katun’s imaging parts and supplies.

Based in Sydney, RTS Imaging has been distributing ribbon cartridges to both Australia and New Zealand since the 1970s. The partnership will help RTS to become one of the largest laser print cartridge manufacturers in the southern hemisphere.

Katun chose to make RTS Imaging the supplier of its goods because of its reputation, according to president and CEO Carlyle Singer. "We are excited to be partnering with a company that shares many of our same values," he said.

"Their commitment to service and quality has been proven over the years, and with a 3200 metre warehouse in Sydney, a proven distribution infrastructure and ISO certification, RTS will be in a position to offer customers the highest level of service."

RTS echo similar sentiments towards Katun. "We … have always respected the quality products produced by Katun," said Wilf Mula, owner of RTS Imaging. "Katun, over many years, has produced aftermarket copier products that have met the test of time, been accepted by the market at large for consistence and are backed up with technical know-how and expertise.

"We believe that the copier and laser technologies are merging and that partnership with Katun will provide our customers with a one-stop solution for both technologies."

Effective as of 1 October, RTS will offer the full range of Katun products in addition to its own services.
