Business process enterprise, SEMA, has been selected as the winner in the 2014 NAB Supplier Awards in the Innovation category. The awards program has been in place since 2010 and past winners include Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and RP Data.

The purpose of the awards program is to foster relationships that go beyond the traditional supply and demand relationship. This philosophy is one with which SEMA are closely aligned.

John Stewart, SEMA Managing Director “Winning this award is a huge compliment to everyone involved and a great endorsement of our ability to deliver across all channels.”

The challenge was to deliver a platform that would offer cost savings and improve functionality for the teams who manage digital customer communications across NAB’s brands. In addition, the solution needed to instil overall governance across the NAB Group and its subsidiaries in the marketing sector whilst meeting risk and compliance requirements.

SEMA delivered a digital marketing solution that covered integrated email, SMS and intelligent print and meets NAB’s current and future needs. We created a single ‘pane of glass’ platform that eliminated multiple vendor contracts and significantly reduced risk to data integrity.

The solution not only delivered cost savings but also improved functionality for the teams who manage digital customer communications across the multiple brands.

The SEMA/NAB relationship began over 12 years ago with SEMA delivering all of NAB’s direct mail marketing communications. More recently, SEMA have worked closely with NAB to deliver more communications via digital channels and establish a robust digital marketing platform across the NAB Group which includes UBank, MLC and JBWere. It is this work in the digital space that has seen SEMA recognised as the top supplier
