If you are in Western Australia or South Australia and wanting to get those last minute PICA entries in – it’s too late – but there is still have time for the NSW and Victorian events which are due to close within days.

According to Paul Nieuwhof, WA general manager for Printing Industries, the West’s PICA dinner to be held 27 August, had attracted better than expected entry levels and dinner bookings.

Victorian PICA entries close on  26 August and the NSW PICA a week later on 2 September. Queensland follow on 9 September and the ACT PAGE Awards 4 November.

“We have a good spread of winners across all categories and its become very apparent that companies are spending more time on attention to detail with their entries,” he said.

“It’s harder for our judges making the winning calls but it’s a good problem to have. It’s a sign of increased competitiveness which is good for our industry overall and sends a signal to the rest of the country that our WA printers mean business when they get to National Print Awards level.”

Information on all the state PICA events is available on Printing Industries website in the PICA & NPA Information section or by clicking here
