Wellcom will manage a hub at Westpac’s Kent Street headquarters in Sydney taking care of all of the design, data and prepress requirements for the financial organisation. Wellcom says the contract is in line with its existing strategy of growing organically in total facilities management through partnering with “blue chip” corporate clients.

Wayne Sidwell, CEO of Wellcom, says the deal offers his company the chance to bring service, efficiencies and savings to the bank’s internal customers, which will lead on a growing awareness of the group’s abilities.

When Stream Solutions secured the five-year Westpac print management contract earlier this year, it represented the consolidation of an existing business relationship. While it was originally part of the consortium formed in with Mayne Logistics, Websdale Print and Lilyfield Printing in 2000, Stream now has the entire end-to-end contract for the next five years.

Wellcom was most recently in the news when it announced an expansion into Brisbane with the purchase of Image Studios. The Group provides print-related services to advertising agencies, retailers and other corporate customers. Some of its current clients include agencies like Singleton Ogilvy and Mather along with retailers like Woolworths and David Jones.
