With the Australian dollar making overseas travel more affordable Printing Industries has launched a short survey to gauge interest in an industry tour to drupa 2012.

drupa 2012 – the world’s biggest printing industry fair – will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany from 3-16 May 2012.

Bill Healey, CEO of Printing Industries says the survey would provide invaluable feedback to help build the best possible value tour for the industry.

"Printing Industries is partnering with Eastern Suburbs Travel who are well experienced in staging drupa tours and will be working with us developing the 2012 tour," he said.

"This is a knowledge investment no one can afford to miss if they are serious about your businesses profitability. It’s made all the more attractive because of the tax deductibility of the investment and the current high value of the Australian dollar, particularly in relation to the Euro.

"With so much talk about the future and place of print in an increasingly electronic focused communications marketplace, every print business owner needs to know about and understand where and how they can position their business for maximum profitability.

"Drupa 2012 will provide the biggest and most affordable opportunity this decade for our industry members to see firsthand the equipment, new technologies, processes and products to help them succeed with their businesses."

The exhibition will cover 19 halls featuring about 1,800 exhibitors in 170,000 square metres of exhibition space. In comparison, the huge Melbourne Exhibition Centre which hosts PacPrint, covers a mere 30,000 square metres!

You can access the survey link here. Please complete the survey by Friday 12 August 2011.
