  • Tony Grima to head sales at OKI Data

    Former Fuji Xerox Printers GM Australia Tony Grima has been appointed the new sales director at OKI Data Australia, the local division of the Tokyo-based global manufacturer of business printers, multi-function devices and wide format solutions.

    “It’s very exciting to join OKI with its passionate community of channel partner and customer advocates, breakthrough technology and revenue momentum.” Grima says. “I look forward to the journey ahead and helping OKI achieve strong and mutually rewarding results for and in collaboration with our channel partners.”

    Based in Sydney, Grima will be responsible for leading OKI’s sales momentum, including channel partner development, distribution strategy and revenue growth.

    “We are delighted that Tony has joined OKI at this time,” says Alex Kawamura, ANZ MD, OKI Data Australia. “His skillset and experience of working in business development in fast growth companies will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate our revenue expansion.”

    Grima joins OKI with more than 15 years of management and sales industry experience. Most recently, Grima was Australia general manager with Fuji Xerox Printers, during which time he led the implementation of a new channel partner program, reconfigured the company’s sales pipeline and improved service levels.

    Previously, Grima was MD and CEO at Oldfields, an ASX-listed marketer, importer and manufacturer of a range of products including scaffolding and painting accessories. 

    Grima also held several management positions over a period of 13 years at global manufacturing company Avery Dennison Corporation, including GM Central Europe and GM for ANZ.

    OKI is a global manufacturer of wide format printers, business printers and MFP’s. OKI Data Australia commenced operations in 2009 and OKI Data New Zealand was established in 2015.
