LIA TO TOUR CACTUS IMAGING

The NSW branch of LIA is set to tour one of the country’s biggest wide format print operations next month, with Cactus Imaging to host printers, and supply food and refreshments.

Mitch Mulligan, committee member, LIA, said, “We believe it will be a unique opportunity to have a close look at one of the largest large format sites in Australia.  This promises to be a great night for the industry.”

Cactus is part of oOh! Media, and one of the leading wide format print operations in the country, with a battery of Fujifilm, Durst and other equipment, it has world first finishing kit, and has developed its own eco-friendly banner material, all of which will be able to be seen.

Keith Ferrel, general manager of Cactus Operations, said, “We are proud of what we have achieved over the years, and we continue to invest in the world’s best large format equipment. Visitors will see many world firsts in print and finishing equipment. Print equipment which we run at between 400sqm and 700sqm an hour will be a highlight.”

The tour is slated for Thursday 11 April from 5.15pm-9.30pm, with food and refreshments, provided by Cactus, to be served on premises. Click here to email the LIA secretary to book. There is no cost to attend the event.
