Print and sign franchise group Kwik Kopy will host its conference in Fiji later this month, under the title "World of Possibilities: Empowering Us to Make Possible."

Core values and purpose: Sonia Shwabsky

Some 200 people, including franchisees, suppliers, industry experts, and special guests, will participate in the event, which runs 20-23 April. Noteworthy highlights include presentations from the CEO Sonia Shwabsky, and from the marketing, and operations teams. There will be keynote addresses by industry leaders, along with workshops on sales, cyber-security, and e-commerce.

The conference will see the launch of Kwik Kopy's new Leadership Cadetship and Scholarship programme.

The four-day event culminates in what is promised to be a spectacular awards night, hosted under the stars for the first time, celebrating excellence and innovation within the Kwik Kopy community.

Attendees will witness the unveiling of Kwik Kopy's new website and e-commerce platform, marking a significant step towards the group’s aim of becoming the leading franchise in the marketing communications space.

Under the leadership of Shwabsky the 90-store strong franchise group has arrested years of revenue decline. Sales at the Kwik Kopy group had been on a gentle downward slope ever since the GFC in 2008, however, in the last financial year, Shwabsk’s first full year as CEO,  total revenue grew by 2.8 per cent, compared with 2019, the last full pre-Covid year. Shwabsky said the 90-store group is looking to add a further 40 print centres over the next few years, and said it is targeting at least a seven per cent revenue increase this year from existing stores.

The seven per cent is the base target, the company also has a 10 per cent ‘stretch’ target. Much of that growth is likely to come from the store’s wide-format activity, which saw turbo-charged figures for last year, achieving 46 per cent growth, as the group developed its large format business, under the guidance of large format manager Sue Waite at head office.

Shwabsky said, "Our dedication to continuous growth and innovation has propelled us forward amidst challenges and opportunities. This year's conference underscores our commitment to our core values and purpose."

The conference agenda has sessions on leadership, customer understanding, e-commerce integration, sustainability, website transformation, and investment in growth. Head office says that through engaging presentations, insightful discussions, and interactive sessions, attendees will gain valuable insights into Kwik Kopy's pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry.

"We are entering a world of possibilities, where innovation and collaboration drive growth," Shwabsky added. "At Kwik Kopy, we empower our franchisees to seize opportunities and turn possibilities into reality. Together, we will continue to evolve and thrive."
