The Canberra edition of the Women in Print Breakfast Series will take place on 7 May, running at the same time as the Sydney event. The series will run in seven capital cities, starting on 30 April and concluding on 8 May.

The Canberra event will livestream the keynote speaker, Christina Bruce, from Sydney. With a team of volunteers from Instant Colour Press in Belconnen, ACT, the Women in Print Chair, Stephanie Gaddin, will open the Canberra event.

Following the breakfast, Gaddin, and Victorian patron Rita Karagiannis, will assist the Canberra volunteers in forming an ACT committee, and will receive the formal application for an ACT Patron.

The expansion into Canberra marks a significant milestone for Women in Print, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to inclusivity and nationwide support for women professionals in the print industry.

“I am privileged to support all women in our industry and drive the expansion of Women in Print in Canberra,” remarked Gaddin. “We look forward to meeting Canberran talent at the breakfast next month, and I am excited to work alongside our community to foster personal and career growth and inclusivity across multiple spheres.”

The Women in Print Breakfast Series has become a cornerstone event for networking, education, and empowerment within the print community. This year, the series will feature Christina Bruce, founder and CEO of Sellabilities, as the keynote speaker. Bruce will delve into the theme of ‘The Box’ where participants are led through a process of self-exploration of their thinking, and then create their own model for that new thinking, that enables new possibilities and results.

Bruce has 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, making her a prominent figure in the industry. Her passion for professional development and dedication to enhancing the seller-buyer relationship align with Women in Print’s mission to empower women in the print sector.

The Women in Print Breakfast Series continues to be a not-for-profit initiative, supported by generous sponsors and partners who share the organisation’s vision of empowering women in the print sector. Cactus Imaging has confirmed the continuation of its sponsorship, taking up a Women in Print Ally Sponsorship.

“As Women in Print expands its footprint to encompass Canberra, I am deeply appreciative of the enduring support from our industry allies. The collaborative efforts of our partners contribute significantly to the advancement of women professionals in the print sector. We extend a warm invitation to our all in the broader community to join us at the Breakfast Series, where together, we can forge stronger connections, share insights, and champion inclusivity within our industry,” commented Gaddin.
