This years’ Real Media Awards sees the expansion across categories in recognition of all industry sectors, with a strong focus on effective print marketing. Building the entry reach from previous years, the Real Media Awards launched a new award last year ‘Packaging, Brand Activation and Labels’ expanding into packaging, labels and wide format industry sectors.

It has also launched ‘Loyalty Program of the Year’ and ‘Data-Driven Campaigns’ which add depth to the mail sector, whilst maintaining a category for Charity and Fundraising Mail as a speciality.

The 2024 Real Media Awards will continue Major Award categories such as: Brand of the Year; Agency of the Year; Best Emerging Talent, and Best Emerging Designer, which it says are all coveted awards, delivering recognition to the finalists and winners across the entire industry.

The Real Media Awards celebrate all things print, marketing and brand with effectiveness, craft, creativity and innovation being recognised, in arguably the industry’s most prestigious event of the year. From brochureware to print collateral, catalogues to magazines, property portfolios to packaging, point of sale to direct mail, and signage to product labels – the Real Media Awards are renowned for celebrating printers and customer achievements together.

“The Real Media Awards is our industry’s opportunity to put the spotlight on your customers, celebrating their campaigns they entrusted our members to produce. The night is filled with customers, printers and suppliers coming together to celebrate the work they achieved together. What better sales event for your customer than awarding theirs and your success together?” commented Kellie Northwood, CEO, Visual Media Association.

The awards event will be held on Friday 18 October, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf, Melbourne. The theme this year is ‘70s Retro’ recognising the longevity, relevance and engagement of visual media channels.

“I love it when the customers enter, and I contact the members to advise them their customers are entering on their behalf. Whilst that is fun, I encourage our members and industry to get in before their customers, to ensure their customers feel recognised and valued.

“Each year we are seeing more and more entrants tell us a story of their success, the journey their campaigns have taken, and the results that have been achieved using our services. It is wonderful to see the success of marketing at work, and we look forward to coming together to celebrate your success,” concluded Northwood.
