All over for Monet Print Services

Monet Print Services in Port Melbourne has pulled the plug, with owner Jack Rosner telling Print21 that he is unlikely to return to print after ceasing operations during Covid.

The company began operations last year when Monet Press in Dandenong collapsed, with Monet Print Services operating mainly as a print broker.

Unsecured creditors at Monet Press were owed $275,000, with some 44 unsecured creditors – including trade printers and print industry suppliers – owed the money between them, with a further $62,000 owed to secured creditors.

However, whatever cash was in the company at the time was almost all taken up by the administrator's fees.

Monet Press fell over after half a century in operation, with owner Jack Rosner having run the business since 1990.
