Currie Group wins HP Global Channel Partner
Local HP Indigo supplier Currie Group has taken out the global HP Channel Partner of the Year award, the award recognising its combined performance across both labels & packaging, and commercial.
The annual HP Industrial Graphics Partner Awards acknowledge and celebrate the success of HP’s partners around the globe, with Currie Group proclaimed the Worldwide Channel Partner of the Year.
Currie Group delivered a record high year in sales, despite its head office in Melbourne being in lockdown for 262 days since March last year. Among its installs Currie Group sold two HP Indigo 100K presses, having installed the first with online training and remote support only.
The judges noted the performance is underpinned by Currie Group’s “excellent installed-base management, managing older presses and upgrading presses where required with their customers.”
Craig Walmsley, HP Industrial country manager Australia & New Zealand, said, “Currie Group’s recognition as HP Industrial Graphics Worldwide Channel Partner of the Year is a just reward for the hard work of the entire Currie Group team.
“Currie Group has overcome multiple challenges from lockdown in Melbourne and have maintained their excellent customer service. We’re proud to have Currie Group as our partner in Australia and New Zealand and look forward to celebrating our continued success together long into the future.”
Rob Mesaros, Currie Group CEO, said, “We’re humbled for being recognised as HP Industrial Graphics Worldwide Channel Partner of the Year. HP Industrial Graphics has been a core part of our business for 20 years, and despite the challenges that come from working in a global pandemic, we’re proud that our strategic collaboration with HP has been recognised with this Award.”
