EPSON RELEASES TWO NEW PRINTERS
Epson has released two new multifunction wide format printers in its SureColor T-Series; the T5760DM 36-inch and T7760DM 44-inch dual-roll, which will produce posters and POP displays at speeds of 27sqm an hour, with CAD and technical drawings printed at 130sqm.
The company says that all of the SureColor T-series MFP models share the same features as the other models in the range which include Epson’s latest 2.64 inch PrecisionCore printhead. It also says there is improved usability, streamlined workflows and media handling. They have dual rolls, built-in take-up reel for roll-to-roll printing, complete front operation and automatic roll loading. Both use Adobe’s Embedded Print Engine as standard.
The new MFP models, much like the other models in the range, also share the same compact industrial design with flat top, which the company says is suitable for space-constrained production environments.
The SureColor T5760DM 36" and T7760DM 44" models incorporate an integrated 36 inch scanner for scan and copy functionality. The scanner flat opens automatically when selecting either copy or scan mode and the printer allows for printing to continue when these modes are selected and in use. The scanner supports scan and copy functionality with network and direct USB and included is a 960GB SSD for file storage in a variety of formats. It features a dual light source, which Epson says is to ensure the best possible imaging even on aged and creased documents. It also incorporates CIS with RGB filters to reproduce accurate colours and recognise highlighter and pen-based markings even with fluorescent ink.
These new printers, along with the others in the series, are available from authorised Epson dealers. The company’s RRP for the printers with five year Coverplus are AU$16,995 or NZ$18,495 for the T5760DM and AU$20,295 or NZ$21,995 for the T7760DM.
