Kyocera Australia appoints TaskAlfa leader as new MD
Kyocera Document Solutions Australia has appointed Motohiro Sato – who was instrumental in the launch of production inkjet business in the Asian region – as its new managing director for the region.
Well known for manufacturing inkjet heads for print production systems, Kyocera last year launched the TaskAlfa – its own digital print system, with Sato responsible for the launch of the production Inkjet business.
The TaskAlfa 15000C Pro is an inkjet SRA3 cutsheet printer which runs at 150ppm A4 at 660x600dpi on uncoated stock. It is aimed at application such as short-run transactional print like forms, direct mail, bills and statements, and at small scale publishing runs, for example exams and manuals.
Sato is an experienced senior leader with 22 years within Kyocera Document Solutions in Asia. He said, “I am excited about this opportunity to lead this region, and I believe that our strong culture of innovation is key to Kyocera Document Solutions continued success.

He succeeds Ryosuke Okochi, who has now been appointed vice president, Corporate Sales Division, Kyocera Document Solutions Asia, located in the regional head office, Hong Kong.
