LIA running Imagination site tour next Tuesday
The LIA (NSW) is running a site tour at Imagination Graphics in Marrickville next Tuesday evening, followed by a dinner, with this Friday the cut-off date for registrations.
The LIA says the tour will see a wide range of equipment, as it moves through the various departments, including pre-press which includes trade platemaking, printing with letterpress, offset and digital, and finishing with digital cutting, laminating, scoring and in-house PUR binding.
Imagination produces a wide range of printed products for the public and trade, from annual reports to business cards and flyers; on stock from light 80gsm to heavy Corflute. The digital colour B2 Konica Minolta AccurioJet is a stand-out new technology, with its ability to print a wide range of stocks.
Guest speaker at dinner is Emmanuel Buhagiar, director of Imagination Graphics, who will share his story, including the recovery of the business form a devastating flood. Also present will be representatives of Konica Minolta and Agfa, who will answer questions regarding some of the high tech equipment.
Registration is in the foyer at 33-35 Sydney Street, with the tour starting at 5:40pm. The tour will then move to Marrickville Bowling & Recreation Club 91 Sydenham Road, Marrickville at around d 7pm for dinner.
