PrintNZ launches new campaign to keep print local
PrintNZ has launched the Printed in New Zealand campaign, encouraging local printers to display the campaign logo to brand their work, and for their clients to proudly show that their work was printed in NZ.
According to Ruth Cobb, CEO PrintNZ, the Printed in New Zealand logo also offers the opportunity for print work to remain in New Zealand.
"The issues created in supply chain delays on the back of Covid-19 has seen some print work come back to New Zealand, and we want to try and keep it here," she said.
The Printed In New Zealand logo will be available to PrintNZ members for a small one-off set-up fee. It will carry a member identity number to be tracked back to the member, and to avoid unauthorised use.
Cobb says that once the logo is paid for, it can be used on any work by the printer with their client's consent. The logo will then be earmarked for relevant jobs.
