Marvel Bookbinding & Printfinishing has promoted Richard Eastaugh to the role of general manager, the move putting him in charge of running the country’s biggest trade binding and finishing house.

Richard Eastaugh is the son of the company founder Wayne Easthaugh, who will now step into a mentoring role for Richard as he takes the reins. Richard has a degree in economics and business management, followed by 15 years at Marvel, both on the production floor and in office management experience.

Wayne Eastaugh said, “Richard is well-equipped and highly experienced to now move into the general manager role. He will also be instrumental in leading our organisation to new heights.”

Richard Eastaugh’s new role will see him responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, working closely with Wayne and with the Marvel team, to drive growth and consistently achieve Marvel’s goals. He will also play a critical role in shaping the future strategic direction of the organisation, with Wayne saying the move will ensure that Marvel continues to provide high-quality products and services to its customer’s current and future needs.

Wayne Eastaugh said, “I am very confident that Richard's expertise and leadership skills will support Marvel as the business continues to thrive and grow in today's competitive marketplace, I look forward to the contributions and fresh ideas he will bring to his new role, and I am hugely proud to support Richard’s promotion.
