Soar features in business climate promo
Environmental pioneer Soar Print is one of the companies featured as a case study in a campaign to show businesses how to take action to reduce their climate impact.

Fred Soar, managing director of the 100 year old business, said, “Climate action is good for your business, your people, your community. The Climate Action Toolbox was created through a collaboration of seven leading organisations that believe climate action needs to be integrated into the way we do business in Aotearoa.
“As winners of the Sustainable Business Network Climate Action Leader Award 2020, Soar Print have been featured as a case study showing some of the changes we've made to reduce our emissions.”
The case study on Soar Print focuses specifically on its implementation of LED lights to reduce itrs carbon emissions, although it has also put a host of other measures in place.
Sustainable Business Network has just launched its climate action toolbox to help SMEs on their way to reduce their carbon footprint. The toolbox is free to use and makes it “super easy” for smaller businesses, from all sectors, to take action on climate and lower their emissions.
Soar says, “It has the backing of Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, EECA and others and we think this is a must for all SMEs to play their part.”
