Sutherland launches print business coaching

Industry veteran Cameron Sutherland has launched Rapide Resources, a new consulting and business coaching outfit specialising in print, signage and international trade.

Sutherland, who was previously director of supply company Australian Visual Solutions, which grew to six branches and 40+ staff during his tenure of 25 years, has experience in importing, distribution, training, and customer service.

He says, “The sign and print industry is defining its direction. I am excited to use my experience to help business transition, and secure their profitability with clearly defined goals and accountability of their team.”

As well as providing consulting and one-off, six or 12 month custom coaching programs, Rapide Resources offers services such as purchasing of capital equipment, international representation at trade shows,and factory tours.

“New print technologies have been instrumental in the growth of our industry, running a lean print room, maintaining well trained operators, selling the right products, into the right market, at the right price are the same issue in any print shop,” he adds.

Sutherland was a dealer for Roland printers for 15 years and won many National Dealer of the Year awards. He was exclusive Australian distributor for Flora Printers, Anajet DTG, Yello Tools, General Formulations, McSign, Inglet Trimmers and Texo Fabrics.
