TMA makes major NZ move with True North
TMA Group of Companies says it has become the largest independent print manager in the land of the long white cloud by taking 100 per cent ownership of True North New Zealand.
TMA Group executive chairman, Anthony Karam said, “With the acquisition of True North, TMA can now offer a comprehensive Trans‐Tasman print management and logistics solution.
“Our specialised managed services and technology solutions are at the forefront of corporate procurement in New Zealand and Australia.
True North will continue to operate under the True North brand. It operates throughout New Zealand and specialises in print and logistics services, as well as campaign management.
In addition to government agencies, True North’s major client base includes many of the large retail, FMCG, hospitality and financial services organisations in New Zealand.
TMA Group of Companies is an Australian‐owned multinational print, print management, technology and logistics company. It includes printer Impress Colour in Sydney and Premier labels printing in New Zealand.
True North was founded by John G-Snaith in 1997. It provides print management, merchandise, storage, distribution, fulfilment, and logistics.
TMA was established in 1982, listed, then delisted from the stock market in 2011. It has been on a growth trajectory since its foundation, expanding into overseas markets. In 2012, it put in an audacious but unsuccessful bid to buy PMP. Its diverse portfolio includes a touchless parking app. It remains in tickets and it will supply the full gamut of printed products to its clients.
